
2 cups uncooked jasmine rice
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp grated peeled fresh ginger
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 cups Asian Chicken broth
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Preparation:
1. Place rice in a colander in a bowl.
2. Cover rice with water; stir rice until water turns white.
3. Lift colander; drain liquid in bowl.
4. Repeat procedure twice.
5. Drain.
6. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
7. Add ginger and garlic; cook 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
8. Add rice, cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
9. Stir in Asian Chicken Broth, bring to a boil.
10. Cover, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
11. Remove from heat, and stir in cilantro.
12. Cover and let stand 10 minutes.
13. Fluff with a fork.
